A hand comes down from somewhere above the frame, flat on the top of the head, and pushes. What's underneath gives — one face sagging into the next, mouths stretched open, the whole stack settling like warm wax. Nobody is shouting for help. They're just open.

Printed the way a bad poster was printed in 1974: three inks, off-register, coarse halftone dots showing through, every face built entirely from flowing contour lines like the grain in a plank of wood. Rust orange on aged cream. Look at it too long and it starts to move.
