Point Pleasant, 1966. Two couples driving past the old munitions plant reported a creature with glowing eyes and ten-foot wings. What the newspapers never printed: several witnesses also described it as "weirdly round" and "kind of huggable." It appears before disasters, follows cars at highway speed, and is absolutely not responsible for anything. It just wants to watch. From very close.
